Want to get away from it all? Wilderness camping may be for you.    Not for everyone, our river front campsites offer an opportunity to enjoy the basics of life. Sitting in the shade with many species of birds. Walking the nature trails in a pristine natural environment. Fishing the crystal clear headwaters of the James River that are abundant with many types of fish. And sleeping along the river with the sounds of rapids, frogs and crickets for the best nights sleep you can get.    Our large private sites have stone fire rings, picnic table and a clean porta-pottie nearby. We have a pebble beach perfect for swimming and splashing the heat away.    We welcome families, groups, individuals and pets.    With a little planning and creativity you can have a wonderful Wilderness Experience.

Shady Camping spots on the James River.

Camping: $30 a night (up to 6 adults) $6 per person over 6. Large Groups of 10 or more will need to Rent additional sites.

Children and pets are Free!

Tents, Trailers and RV's welcome.
