Rivervale to Glasgow:   From our put-in to the Glasgow take-out is about 2 miles. This float can be done in an hour and a half or can be done as a half day fishing trip. The schedule is up to you.
This trip starts in our own "backyard". Your boat will be taken to the river and launched at your own pace.
You will encounter a nice Class II rapid at the
Locher Tract and then can enjoy gentle moving water perfect for fishing, swimming or relaxing in nature.
You will soon hear the roar of the second and last Class II rapid on the trip. After picking the proper "chute", you'll once again enjoy gentle water to the take-out.

You will see and hear the confluence of the James and Maury Rivers. The take-out is a worn path up the river bank at a storm drain on the left hand side of the River
The boats then need to be carried to the parking lot to the waiting bus and trailer for shuttle back to Rivervale (WCC).
But, because of the need to be shuttled back, unlike the
Alpine trip and the Cedar Creek trip, this will be a "timed" event. You will need to be reasonably on time for your pick-up.
